My Project is a sceme that explores a new urbanistic approach for Laveno and the Lake Maggior .Laveno is located in the middle of the last coast of the Lake. There ist he only possibility to cross the lake with the car or by feet , when you don`t have a boat.
At the Moment the site is not accessible and ist impossible to continue the promenade along the lake. There is a total lack of connectivity. My aim is to connect the dead ends and link the upper and the lower part of the city
Additionaly i want to exploid the potential of the waterfront for my Marina
My first approach was to extend the coast line by flooding the site and to bring it back in the original Form.
Secondly i reinvorced the promenade.
My formal concept is devellopping out of the shape of the coastline. That then extends to a promenade out to the lake and into the water.
The first 3 Dim. Studies: Developpmet out of the coastline and to create a fluent transition between inside and outside through folding the surface.
And i wanted to connect it to the water surface to form an island condition.
To bring the marina into the waterand also to be able to accses the structure from a point far out of the lake.And at the same time being conected to the land.
