Stimulated by César Baldaccini’s radical compressions, such as his compacted automobiles and discarded metal, we were inspired to create a performance of multiple and different function-units which are leading to a compact and complex mass. projecting our chaotic concept of randomness and artistically abstract idea into architecture, a parametric model aroused which desires spatial order and pushes formal understanding. our compression associates two opposing states, two contradictory positions – construction and destruction, as in order and chaos.
As in César’s metal sculptures, one is all at once fascinated by the FORCE that inhales these elements INSIDE, seduced by their unexpected MALLEABILITY, and hit by the BRUTALITY with which they expel the air.
