We used two network typologies, centralized and distributed, to describe the how access functioned in each of the programs.
These new access typologies serve as a unifying principle for the programs and they are the basis for the project’s logic. A radial configuration for the patterning allows for a central point of influence that can affect surrounding areas equally. The primary access becomes more networked in the distributed version. These diagrams allow for the inclusion of secondary access and potential light cores in their plan. The diagrammatic patterning for the different typologies allow for the systematic development of vertical interconnectivity.
