This project is based on the accordion effect and its slight changes in volume by different pressure from outside. We translated the simple two dimensional figure into a complex three dimensional structure to achieve a higher degree of quality in depth. Height and ankle are the parameters for different programs. The site is situated in Istanbuls finance district, rearranging the street-network in the underground to gain a car-free plaza for maximum pedestrian attraction. The user by car or subway will enter the building from the underground, the pedestrian might use the plaza underneath the building to hang around or he decides to enter and uses ramps evolving out of the landscape leading into the building. A tower of office and residential apartments moulds out of a long neck of shopping area, which demonstrates the slight transformation of programs.
