As the title suggests, the project deals with perception in relation to motion and velocity.
A variety of basic geometries [relevant to urban form in scale and shape] under survaillance of several cameras [static and dynamic] builds the basis of our experiments. The main criterias of which are: shifting focus of the observer, modifying geometry, changing camera attributes and travelling speed.
Analyzing the outcome of these various experiments gathers information which applied on prototypes will deliberately change perspective conditions for the observer in the city.
The aim of this project is to set up a system capable of controlling perception conditions within a geometrical setting, achieving maximum orientation (in micro and macro scale) within the urban fabric.
