Analizing aspects of evolution and morphing, as well as properties of muscle fibers, we developed an system that can be used as tool to create a coherent design species.
As a result, the system provides various structural and ornamental properties, as well as a differentiated use of material.
Using different qualities of the fibers, we managed to embed them in each of the tasks. Usage of an stretchable and soft material provides flexible and cushioned characteristics. Interweaving the fibers consisting of rigid materials will cause stiff and structural features.
For each task we analized the necessary solutions in function, aesthetics and ergonomics and developped our system to achieve them.
In order to create strong relationship between the results we used the same development system for each task. The input of the specific analyzations fits the system to each individual task while the muscle fiber concept asures a coherent appearence.
As result no single solutions but tools to achieve a variety of answers to each tasks are created.
