gothic cathedrals show an amazing way of interweaving structural elements, smooth transitions between pillars and ceiling. But from an all over look gothic cathedrals are still laid out rectangular. Our aim for the project is to use the systematic of transitions and to put them on a totally untypical site for gothic cathedrals. we dealt with the topography of the site which is arranged on different levels in hight as we used transitional “twisting” to create introverted spaces for specific program, which are inserted in an continuous space which finally defines the boarder of our villa. Still a lot of different parameters as wind, sun and program define the geometry of project.
