Our systematic guidelines are the principle of bundling, inspired by aspects of the human anatomy and especially the precept of structural layering.
According to the project task which includes to create a villa and a boat, we decided to span our building between the main island saint lucia and two smaller islands just above the sea because we wanted to intensify the relationship between both objects.
The basic shape of the villa consists of bunches which are orientated to the indications of the site in continuous pendant lines. As a subsystem we used the layering in an ordinary way to differentiate between varying material requirements. This means the changing of layers for different functional aspects.
