Human Tools
winter semester 2008-2009
1. Productivity & Daily Life
GOAL: improve function/emotion of “everyday tools” we want to create new paradigms and innovative concepts both in regards to sourcing and usability. Also achieve “social acceptability” and adoption/respect to local cultures…

2. Wellness & Medical
GOAL: Today’s “medical tools” are either ultra-tech and in-human or super cheap and an insult to human feelings (Glucose Meters…). As staying healthy starts with feeling well, we also want to explore “non-Western” methods…
Convergent products in this section also need to re-introduce local cultures.

3. Robotics
GOAL: provide products/solutions/sensors/services which enable better personal monitoring, safety and relief from obsolete working and production processes.
These “tools” need to be “convergent” as information and learning are vital.
