The family license is a concept for pre-natal education and counseling. It is a program which provides parents with basic information about raising a child and also involves informative and advisory discussions with an educator specialized in this field. The program's goal is to prevent, expose, and combat abuse and neglect within the home.
Similar to driver's license training, several teaching units would be made for parents before their child is born, and for the entire family throughout childhood. While advanced training is the main focus point, educational phases serve the purpose of identifying undesirable trends within a family and crimes committed against a child.
This system of education should be mandatory. Discussions and tests will be used to uncover potential risks of future abuse, and corrective measures will be initiated when needed.
